1. Legitimacy & Trust
Q: Is El Clásico Trips a legitimate company?
Yes. El Clásico Trips is a U.S.-based company incorporated in California. We have been operating El Clásico Trips since 2016, building on firsthand El Clásico travel experience that began in 2007. Our travelers come from across the United States, Latin America, and beyond, and many return to travel with us again. Visit our Testimonials page to hear directly from our clients.
2. About el Clásico
Q: When are the 2026/27 El Clásico matches?
The first La Liga El Clásico of the 2026/27 season is scheduled for October 25, 2026 in Barcelona at Spotify Camp Nou. The return match is scheduled for May 9, 2027 in Madrid at Santiago Bernabéu. Kickoff times have not yet been announced.
Q: Can the match date or kickoff time change?
Football schedules can be adjusted by the league, broadcasters or competition requirements. We monitor official announcements closely and update our travelers as soon as scheduling information is confirmed.
Q: What is the trip like?
El Clásico is much more than the match itself. Our trips combine the atmosphere of one of football’s greatest rivalries with a curated experience in Barcelona or Madrid, including travel, accommodations, tours, matchday preparation, and personal support from our team. 3. Payments
Q: Can I finance my El Clásico trip or pay in installments?
Yes. Payment options depend on the trip and when you are booking.
For our Fall 2026 Barcelona trip, eligible travelers can explore pay-over-time options with Affirm for the full eligible package amount. Depending on eligibility and available plans, options may include 0% APR for qualified customers and terms of up to 24 months.
If Affirm is not available to you, or the available plans do not meet your needs, Home Acceptance Corporation & Affiliates (HAC) may also be available as an alternative extended-financing option.
For our Spring 2027 Madrid trip, El Clásico Trips offers the ECT Payment Plan, with no interest and no ECT service fees. Payments are made directly to ECT and are divided based on the time remaining before travel.

Yes. Payments made directly toward your ECT package are 100% refundable until airfare is issued. Once airfare has been issued, cancellation and refund options depend on the applicable airline, hotel, ticket and supplier terms.
Q: What payment methods are accepted?
Credit card, debit card, Zelle, or secure payment link.
4. Package Details
Q: What is included in the FAN and GOLD packages?
Both FAN and GOLD include round-trip economy airfare from major airports in the U.S. and Canada, hotel accommodations, an El Clásico match ticket, airport transfers, a guided city experience, daily breakfast, personal concierge support, and applicable taxes.
GOLD includes an additional hotel night, an upgraded seating category and a guided stadium experience.

Q: How are package prices calculated?
Package prices are per person and include applicable taxes. Standard pricing is based on double occupancy. Travelers requesting a private room are subject to an additional $125 per night single-occupancy supplement.
Q: Can I extend my trip?
Yes. Many travelers add days before or after the main ECT itinerary. We can assist with available extensions, additional hotel nights, and recommendations for spending more time in Spain or elsewhere in Europe.
5. Hotels
Q: What kind of hotels do you use?
Our current 2026/27 packages include carefully selected 4-star hotels in convenient areas of Barcelona or Madrid. We prioritize location, quality, comfort and properties that meet the same standard we would choose when traveling with our own family.
6. Flights & Travel
Q: Will someone from El Clásico Trips accompany us?
Yes. El Clásico Trips provides personal hospitality and concierge support throughout the trip. Our team is available to help with your itinerary, matchday preparation, local questions, and other trip details while you are in Spain.
Q: How does airplane seat selection work?
Once your itinerary is approved and ticketed, you can:
Select a seat early for a small airline fee.
Or wait until check-in (24 hours before departure) to select for free.
Q: What is the luggage allowance?
Your ticket includes:
One checked bag (up to 50 lbs, 27"x21"x14")
One carry-on (22"x14"x9") — no weight restriction, just don’t overstuff.
Our standard airfare includes a carry-on and checked bag. Exact size, weight and baggage policies depend on the airline and confirmed itinerary, and we provide those details with your travel documents
7. El Clásico Experience
Q: Does my package include an El Clásico ticket?
Yes. Every FAN and GOLD package includes an El Clásico match ticket in the category specified for that package. We source our tickets through trusted, long-standing providers and coordinate ticket delivery and matchday details directly with our travelers.
Q: Are tickets guaranteed?
Yes. We’ve worked with the same trusted providers since our beginning, and no client has ever had a ticket issue. In fact, many travelers have been surprised with upgrades.
Q: Can I upgrade my stadium seat?
Yes. We take preferences seriously and do our best to accommodate them within your package category. If you’d like to secure a premium upgrade (VIP, hospitality, or category change), we can arrange it for an additional fee.
8. Refunds & Cancellations
Q: What if I need to cancel?
If you cancel before airfare is issued, payments made toward your ECT package are refundable. Once airfare has been issued, available refunds or changes depend on the terms of the airline and other applicable travel suppliers. Contact us as soon as possible, and we will review the available options with you.
Q: What if the match is rescheduled?
Match scheduling is controlled by the league and relevant football authorities. If a schedule change affects your trip, our team will work with you to review the itinerary and available options. Any changes remain subject to airline, hotel, ticket and supplier terms.

Q: How do I reserve my trip?

10. Travel Insurance
Q: Do you offer travel insurance?
El Clásico Trips does not currently offer travel insurance. We strongly recommend that travelers consider purchasing travel insurance independently to help protect against unforeseen circumstances before or during their trip. Coverage, exclusions, and terms vary by provider, so we recommend reviewing the policy carefully before purchasing.
